In Songtan, you can find a trendy cafe with whole-glass windows and a rooftop veranda. It's Boaz Mansion, which resembles an American-style pastoral house.
In contrast to the white exterior of the cafe, the entrance is highlighted in green (tip: the entrance is a popular photo spot for instagrammers). This cafe offers a variety of pastries, including waffles, croffles, cakes, croissants, and scones. In addition to their desserts, they have a great drink menu. Some of their signature menus are Boaz coffee (espresso with peanut cream), Cacao Mountain (chocolate milk with raw cholcolate), Oh My Matcha (organic matcha with cacao), and Boaz Cacao Matcha (organic matcha with raw dark chocolate). If you order a coffee, you may be asked to choose your coffee bean type (Type A coffee beans that tastes like fruit syrup (acidic) and Type B beans that are nutty and chocolatey).
On the first and second floors, they have ample space to drink coffee and enjoy the view outside. On the second floor is an outdoor terrace with camping chairs and small tables for taking a sip in an open space. The exterior of the cafe is also beautiful for taking selfies with the backdrop of the sunset.
Boaz Mansion is closed every Sunday and opens between 10:00 am and 10:00 pm from Monday to Saturday. It has a parking lot in front of the building. Please wear masks when you visit!
