Buraksan Culture Park – A Place Filled with Various Activities for Children

Buraksan (Mt.) is a perfect place for people of all ages to visit as it has various facilities and well-managed trails. Visitors can not only take a light walk but also enjoy fun activities with children at Buraksan!

The first place to introduce is the Buraksan Theme Playground, which can be easily found from the parking lot. The playground is furnished with swings, small trampolines, slides, hammocks, and a climbing area. It is a safe place for children to play and run around as the ground is covered with sand.

Aside from the playground, there is a Children’s Forest Experience Area! It is an experience-based area where children can climb ropes and cross a wooden bridge. All facilities in the playground are built with nature-friendly materials for children.

Walking along the trail, you will see a sign saying Forest Classroom. It is a place for children to have a courage training by crossing suspension and wooden bridges or stepping on glass stairs.

The Forest Experience Center has more exciting facilities to enjoy. However, for the safety reason, there is an entrance limitation. To participate in the easy course, children must be over 8 years old and taller than 120cm. Normal course requires children to be at least 11 years old and taller than 130cm. Hard course is for children in the age of 13 or more, and should be taller than 146cm.

The participation fee varies depending on the course. However, the residents of Pyeongtaek city can receive a 1,000 KRW discount by showing an ID card. The easy course costs 4,000 KRW and the price increases by 1,000 KRW as the course level goes up. The center accepts only credit or debit cards for payment.

If you want to spend some fun time with your children, come visit Buraksan Culture Park! You’ll have fun and become healthier!
