No Drinking at Parks after 10 P.M. in Pyeongtaek

As the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the capital area continue to increase, the Korean government is putting an effort to prevent the further spread of the virus. Pyeongtaek City is also implementing strict prevention measures and social distancing rules to minimize the spread of COVID-19. There are still many people in Korea who have not yet received the vaccine, so we all have to remain careful until everyone is fully vaccinated.

Since July 14, drinking outdoors at all urban parks in Pyeongtaek City is prohibited. People are not allowed to drink alcohol from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on the following day. If violating the rule, the fine of 100,000 KRW will be charged in accordance with the administrative measures.

Many people take walk at parks to enjoy fresh breeze in the evening. When you go outside for a walk, please remember that level 4 social distancing rules and Pyeongtaek city prohibit gatherings of three or more people after 6 p.m., and drinking at parks after 10 p.m.! If you are having trouble keeping up with the changes of social distancing rules, you may visit the Pyeongtaek Insight Facebook page. Updates are posted whenever the official change about social distancing rules and guidelines is announced. Let’s all keep up the good work!
