Cafe with Veggie-filled Tart Shrimp Quiche (Sharp Roll) 샾롤

There is a place in Pyeongtaek that serves special desserts! The cafe is decorated with white toned interior giving it a spacious look. Although it is a one-story cafe, it is big enough to have many people at once. The official name of Sharp Roll has a great meaning. The reason that the owner wrote S#arp is that they are hoping to grow as a popular business by getting many hashtags on social media. In addition, # is also widely called as a sharp in Korea. The word ‘roll’ symbolizes that the store will grow bigger as if a snowball grows by rolling.

Sharp Roll provides a variety of desserts ranging from meringue cookies, financiers, canelé, cookies, madeleine, muffins, etc. Please note that the dessert menu can be changed by day. All of the desserts are made by the patisserie, making it even more delicious. Out of many delicious desserts, the most unique and special one of Sharp Roll is the shrimp quiche!

The shrimp quiche looks a lot like a pizza bread, and it is a dessert filled with a generous amount of vegetables. As shown in the picture, the crust is made of a tart. It goes perfectly with a variety of beverages and it is big enough to replace lunch!

Sharp Roll is open from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., but is close on Sundays. If you’re looking for a special dessert, come and visit!
