Starting November 1st, the Smart Electronic Notification Service will be implemented, sending advance notices of fines for illegal parking and violations of the bus-only lane through electronic documents (KakaoTalk and text messages).
The Smart Electronic Notification Service aims to address the shortcomings of paper notices, which often fail to reach recipients due to absence or delays caused by discrepancies between the vehicle's registered address and the owner's actual residence. This has led to repeated violations.
For those who do not receive or read the initial KakaoTalk message, a second notice will be sent via text message. If the text message is also unread or refused, a paper notice will be sent by registered mail. Additionally, the service is linked with KakaoPay, providing a convenient payment option.
