The coastal city of Pyeongtaek will host a vibrant Navy Festival featuring a full day of performances, naval exhibitions, and family-friendly experiences along the shore. The event highlights Korea’s maritime heritage and military pride through music, culture, and interactive programs for all ages.
Cultural Performances (12:30–14:50)
Visitors can enjoy a dynamic lineup of performances including the Korea Coast Guard Band, Navy Honor Guard demonstration, and more.
Celebration Concert (16:00–18:00)
A special collaboration between the Pyeongtaek City Korean Traditional Orchestra and the Navy Band will open the stage, followed by performances by popular artists 10CM, BOL4 (Bolbbalgan4), and We;Na.
Navy Square (11:00–16:00)
Three naval vessels, Soyang, Chungnam, and Cheonan will be open to the public, offering a rare opportunity to explore real warships up close. Admission closes at 15:30.
Security Tours and Challenge Events
Visitors can tour the West Sea Protection Hall and Cheonan Memorial Hall independently or with guides. Guests who post SNS photos can receive special souvenirs.
Military Equipment Exhibition
The Navy and Marine Corps will display advanced technologies including helicopters, mobility vehicles, and more.
Sailing Experience
Selected participants, limited to 100 people, will board a naval command ship and sail toward the Seohae Grand Bridge, experiencing the thrill of being at sea.
Love for the Nation, Love for the Sea Art Contest
Children in preschool and elementary school can join a drawing contest celebrating Korea’s maritime spirit.
Participation Zone (11:00–16:00)
Participants can enjoy hands-on activities such as soap and candle making.
Exhibition and Promotion Booths
Various organizations will host interactive booths, including the Marine Safety Experience Center, Pyeongtaek Local Food Market, Carbon Neutral Zone, and AI Experience Zone.
Food Trucks and Picnic Zone
Visitors are encouraged to bring picnic mats, small canopies, and lunch boxes. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the sea with delicious snacks and food while taking in the view.
