There is a place near Pyeongtaek Station where you can take a black & white photo by yourself. This place is called Photoism. What is unique about this place is that you can also take photos with your pet. You take the photo yourself so you don’t have to worry about communication issues! It is located at just a one minute walk from exit 2 of Pyeongtaek Station and there is also public parking available in the vicinity.
Making a reservation for Photoism is recommended. If you don’t make a reservation, you might end up having to wait. Reservations can be made with Kakao Talk. Click on the address below! The staff speaks some English.
For basic self photos, it costs 20,000 KRW for two people. It costs 15,000 KRW if you come alone and if there are more than two people, it will cost an additional 10,000 KRW per person. When selecting the basic self photo, you get two cuts per person and a time lapse video showing the process of you taking photos. Four-cut photos do not require reservations and you can simply come and get the photo taken. It costs 6,000 KRW per person and it only takes about 5 minutes.
If you plan to take photos with young children or pets, you have to pay an additional 5,000 KRW service fee. There are also packages available. Family package (2 basic photos + 1 acrylic frame, 1 A4 size photo + 1 frame, wallet size photo, time lapse video, retouch, and original copy) costs 60,000 KRW for two people. Full package (2 basic photos + 4cut photo + time lapse video + retouch + original copy) costs 45,000 KRW for two people, and the Basic+4cut package (2 basic photos + 4cut photo + time lapse video) costs 30,000 KRW for two people.
