You may face many difficulties during your stay in Korea. On YouTube, you can find a wide variety of contents that introduce you to Korean culture, language, and restaurants. Here are some channels that are particularly useful for members of United States Forces Korea.
The first channel is run by beauty influencer SweetsColour. She came to Korea on two assignments (Camp Humphreys in Pyeongtaek and Camp Casey in Dongducheon). During her service, she launched a brand under her alias and disclosed her beauty know-hows, providing useful information to people. If you're interested in beauty tips or the life of female soldiers, check out her videos!
Army Ahn is the second YouTuber we recommend. He is a Korean-American soldier living in the U.S. In many of his videos, he tries Korean food with his friends in the U.S. Army. He introduces food loved by Koreans, like Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen, dalgona coffee, and Jjapaguri. How about trying some of these while you're in Korea?
Our third pick is Ibangins. Ibangins is a channel where foreigners in Korea try out Korean food and talk about Korea. If you haven't tried many things yet, it'd be a good experience to follow what they've done so far!
Lastly, we recommend GTV (Gyeonggi Provincial Office). GTV provides English news. You can learn about benefits and other necessary information from Gyeonggi Province in English. You might miss out on real-time information if you don't keep up with English news, so hopefully, you can learn essential information from GTV. Their English news is at the very bottom of the playlists.
We hope you enjoy these fun videos and gain more perspectives on Korea! :)
