Koreans usually eat seafood raw, grilled, steamed, or boiled in soup, which is quite different from the American style. In Pyeongtaek, there's a restaurant that sells Cajun-style seafood boil called Ocean Floor.
Located in Paengseong, Ocean Floor sells Cajun-style seafood boils for about 45,000 won for 2-3 people, which include shrimp, mussels, potatoes, sausages, and corn. It's easy to order because the menu has English on it. They also offer pasta and fries that can be eaten on the side.
When you order, they give you a plastic apron, plastic gloves, and wet wipes. They make it easy to eat with your hands. You'll have your bag of seafood boil, just like how you used to have in the States. The seafood is fresh, and the sauce tastes delicious. We highly recommend it if you miss those flavors.
Ocean Floor also operates a delivery service. You can call them at 070-8113-5588 or order via the Shuttle Delivery app. Try these in the comfort of your home! The operating hours are between 11:00 am and 9:00 pm (9:30 pm on Saturdays). They are closed on Mondays. You can also drive and park at the parking lot in front of the restaurant. Enjoy their tasty seafood!
