New Red Bus 6800 Began Operations!

 

The red bus 6800 is recently added to the express bus line of Pyeongtaek. Since November 17, the citizens of Pyeongtaek have been enjoying taking the bus 6800 when visiting Suwon and Seoul. The bus 6800 is called as a red bus because the color of the bus is red. It is also Pyeongtaek’s third express bus for long distances.

 

As this bus travels outside of Pyeongtaek using the expressway, passengers must be seated in the bus, and if there is no seats available, passengers will not be allowed to board for safety reasons.

Bus fee may vary depending on ages and the payment methods. If you use transportation cards or credit cards equipped with traffic card features, the costs are 2,800 KRW for adults, 1,960 KRW for youths, and 1,400 KRW for children. When paying in cash, it costs 2,900 KRW for adults, 2,000 KRW for youths, and 1,500 KRW for children.

With this new bus, you can get to Seoul a bit more conveniently and at less cost! The first bus from Anjung Terminal runs at 5:30 a.m. and the last bus departs at 11 p.m. From Ajou University, the bus runs from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Also, please note that bus operates every 30 to 60 minutes!

 

The Bus 6800 stops at following destinations:

Anjung Terminal – Anjung Jugong 2(i)-danji – Donghwan Apartment – Anjung Branch Office – Booyoung 1(il)-cha Back Gate – KEPCO Seopyeongtaek Branch – Cheongbuk High School – Cheongbuk-eup Office, and then it goes to Suwon City stopping at Gwanggyo Jungang Station – Ajou University Hospital – Ajou University. If you would like to go to Seoul, you can get off at Gwanggyo Jungang Station and transfer to the metro Shinbundang Line (red line) and get off at Gangnam Station.
