Eco-friendly Driving to Protect the Environment

 

Some of the great ways to help protect the environment are taking public transportation, riding bicycles and walking for short distances. Many drivers are now starting to purchase hydrogen or electric cars to help protect the environment, but still, more people are driving internal combustion vehicles due to different reasons. For those who drive regular cars, we would love to share you how to drive eco-friendly when driving regular cars.

Eco-friendly driving can be defined as an economic and safe driving way that can conserve energy and reduce greenhouse gases. In order to drive eco-friendly, the driver should change driving habits and ways by understanding the characteristics of car! 1. Go on a fuel-efficient speed (60~80km/h on regular roads, 90~100km/h on highways)

2. Drive at cruising speeds and keep a safe distance with the vehicle in the front.

3. Avoid sudden starts, acceleration, deceleration, and stops

4. When stopped at traffic lights, switch the gear from drive to neutral

5. Refrain from the excessive use of air conditioner and heater

6. Do not load unnecessary cargo

7. Get regular vehicle inspections and maintenance
