Three Trail Courses in Pyeongtaek are Selected for Gyeonggi Dullegil!

Gyeonggi-do organized a trail path in which you can experience the beautiful scenery, history, culture, and ecological resources of Gyeonggi-do by foot. :) Three places in Pyeongtaek were selected to be included in the path as well! The Pyeongtaek courses include the course 44 to 46. While walking the trails, collect the stamps for souvenirs from the designated places. 

First of all, the distance of the course 44 is 22.6km, starting from the 3 way intersection of Gunmyun-gyo Bridge to Shindae 2-ri Town Hall. The estimated time for this trail course is 6 hours and 10 minutes, and it is considered as an easy course to walk. If you choose to walk the course 44, you will be able to find Pyeongtaek Nongak and Paenseong-eup Gaeksa(a guesthouse for dignitaries in Joseon Dynasty). Take a note that you can get a stamp here! Recommended sites and photo zones of this course are Nongseong(Fortress), Nae-ri munhwa Park, Wonpyeong Naru (ferry dock) and reed field, etc.

Course 45 starts from Shindae 2-ri Town Hall to Pyeongtaek Port Marine Center. It is 22.2km long and takes about 7 hours to complete walking. The difficulty level of the course is very easy. Furthermore, you can get stamps at Pyeongtaek International Bridge and Pyeongtaek-ho Tourist Complex! Recommended sites and photo zones are Pyeontgaek-ho Arts Center, Pyeongtaek-ho Tourist Complex, Pyeongtaek Port Marine Center, and Korea Soriter Arts Center.

Course 46 starts from Port of Pyeongtaek Port Marine Center to the Ihwa-ri Bust Stop in Hwaseong-si. It is a 13.9km course and takes about 4 hours and 50 minutes to walk. The level of difficulty is also very easy and you can get stamps at the Pyeongtaek Port Marine Center and Sudosa Temple. Recommended sites and photo zones are Sudosa Temple, Namyang-ho Lake, and the PR Hall of Pyeongtaek Port.

 

Despite cold weather, many people enjoy walking and seeing beautiful scenery outside.
