Cottagecore is still sought out amongst many Koreans. That is why you may find many small cafes with a cottage concept no matter where you go. However, the cafe Simone stands out amongst the many cottagecore cafes due to its gigantic size. Even though the concept is small cottage, cafe Simone has integrated this concept into its interior design despite its magnitude.

Cafe Simone's exterior design is a one-floor yellow brick building. The yellow bricks, wide wooden windows, and warm lighting make you think this place is a cafe in a faraway town located in Europe. The interior has also yellow walls and wooden furniture along with rustic antique objects installed around the cafe.

The cafe is spacious and even has rooms that provide privacy to customers, perfect for those coming in groups or alone. It is also separated into kids and no-kids zones showing how considerate the staff is towards their customers' leisure time.

Regarding the menu, their signature drink and dessert are homemade Corn Cream Coffee and Egg Tarte. The egg tarts are unique as they are tall  and filled with a thick creamy custard. The presentation of the prepared bakery and drinks is also antique but adorable, which goes well with the rustic objects installed around the cafe.

Everything about Cafe Simone, its baked goods, plates, objects, and interior and exterior design, all encapsulates the essence of a small European cottage. Every picture taken seems to have been taken from Pinterest and instigates a warm and cozy feeling. Visit Cafe Simone when you want a taste of Europe in Korea!
